One to One support:
SEE Ahead delivers support to organisations to develop their strategic plan, including vision, values and social objectives. Once agreed by the senior management team/board of directors, we then work with the CEO or other nominated person, to develop the business plan and financial projections.
A holistic approach is taken to ensure that the organisation is in a position to apply for investment. We look at previous financial performance and management, delivery of services, staff and board members' skills, social impact and its measurement as well as their ability to manage further work/larger contracts.
SEE Ahead delivers a range of interactive workshops to a group of individuals from different organisations or to a group of people from the same organisation.
Topics include: Strategic Planning, Business Planning, Governance and Financial Management and
Measuring Social Impact (See www.seeahead.co.uk for the full list) We also deliver bespoke sessions.
We have worked with many VCSEs supporting them to become more successful at accessing investment to develop their organisations.
Previously we worked for Business Link. Our role was to support VCSEs to apply for grant funding. This involved ensuring they were ready to apply for the funding, helping them develop their strategic goals, write the business plan and the financial forecasts and completing the application form. We presented the application to the grants panel on behalf of the clients.
Helen Hoyle is a former Bank Manager - working 22 years for NatWest and responsible for managing a portfolio of 500 business customers, assessing business plans and analysing financial information to make a decision on whether to lend or not.
We have a specialism in the Health & Social Care sector.
Louanne Roberts manages our contract with Leeds City Council, Adult Social Care called Ideas That Change Lives (ITCL). She supports organisations who wish to apply for the grant schemes by helping them to develop their structures, strategies, policies, procedures, business plans and cashflow forecasts.
