Working with and mentoring key individuals to help them understand what types of investment might be available (including social investment), the implications of different routes to investment for them and for the running of their enterprise, and the processes required to get to the desired investment.
Reviewing financial, commercial and performance management systems to assess whether they have the capability and capacity needed to grow the enterprise and meet investor expectations. The creation and development of business and investment cases based on robust assumptions about service demand, operational performance, and social and financial impact, and the key risks to the enterprise, its stakeholders and its investors.
Developing the financial models and projections required by potential investors. Helping organisations measure and prove the social impact they achieve. Networking, engaging with, and making introductions to, potential investors (and other stakeholders as appropriate). We aim to do this as early as possible so that the expectations of all parties to the deal are managed and met.
Working with management teams to design and develop their pitch to investors, and ensure that potential investors have confidence in the strength of the management team and its ability to deliver on its plans.
Working with management teams to ensure commercial readiness through building up the capacity and capability of the organisation to operate in competitive, commercial markets and bid successfully for public sector contracts.
Support in the evaluation of contract opportunities, solution design and running of bid management processes to prepare specific contract tender responses. We bring a detailed understanding of how commissioners procure complex services especiallly using payment by results.
Support in contract and investment deal negotiations to ensure that terms are achievable and fair to all parties.
