Fordhall Farm issue community shares to save themselves from closure
Fordhall Organic Farm is one farm with 8000 landlords. The farm in Market Drayton, north Shropshire has been organic for over 65 years and specialise in rearing grass fed beef, lamb and Gloucester Old Spot pork.
After being saved from development in 2006 by issuing community shares, it is now England's first community-owned farm and offers a warm welcome to all. Charlotte tells the farm's inspirational story and how social investment can offer a unique opportunity to others.
